Nuclear Engineering & AI Innovator
A Nuclear Engineer with a mastery in physics modeling, simulation, and AI. A graduate of the Balseiro Institute, he has advanced Westinghouse's modeling capabilities for both VVER and BWR reactors.
His tenure at INVAP saw him refine thermal-hydraulics, isotopic decay, and neutronics codes. At Westinghouse, Gino's expertise extended to the neutronics engine and AI, where he generated critical data for training surrogate models, pushing the envelope in reactor simulation technology.
A multilingual communicator and adept in various programming languages, Gino's contributions at industry conferences and his innovative work underscore his commitment to elevating nuclear system safety and shaping the future of nuclear energy.
Jimena Lopez Morillo
Co-founder
MSc Mechanical Engineer
Robotics MSc and Mechanical Engineer from Instituto Balseiro, with a strong foundation in mechanical design, servomechanisms, and multiphysics modeling. She contributed to the structural and electromagnetic design of critical components for the CAREM-25 nuclear power reactor.
As former COO of a rapidly scaling DeFi and AI startup, she led the company’s growth from 15 to 120 people, building high-performance teams across Latin America and Europe. She also spearheaded machine learning projects in e-commerce, focusing on recommendation systems at a multinational tech company.
Co-founder of an AI startup recognized with national innovation awards, Jimena combines deep technical expertise with a strategic vision for impact. She has led large interdisciplinary teams and is driven by the mission of using cutting-edge technology to solve complex challenges and foster sustainable, inclusive innovation.
Camilo Plata

MSc Nuclear Engineer
Nuclear Engineer and MSc in AI applied to image analysis from Instituto Balseiro, with a strong background in computer vision, physical modeling, and generative AI. Camilo has developed solutions across sectors such as telecommunications, agriculture, and energy, applying machine learning to both industrial data and visual understanding.
He has led end-to-end projects involving image pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and the simulation of complex physical systems. His recent work focuses on integrating AI into enterprise workflows to reduce operational friction and accelerate time-to-market. Previous projects range from analyzing multispectral imagery in agriculture to prototyping energy technologies based on nuclear systems.
A builder of POCs and MVPs, Camilo combines hands-on technical execution with systems thinking. He thrives in fast-moving environments and is driven by the challenge of turning deep tech into real-world impact.
